Message:   "Posts regarding vehicle laws, pending land closures, and pending emissions regulations, in other words, politics relating to our trucks, will be allowed to remain on the forum"

The "moderator" has deemed this post to be appropriate, as no reference to the political persuasion of the misguided folks pushing hybrids has been mentioned...

Now, if we were talking hybrid diesels, P100, vegetable oil powered diesels or diesels vs. gasoline motors, I'm all for those "new" technologies.
Any vehicle powered with batteries poses huge environmental issues. Electrics have been tried since the 1890's, so far, in 110 years, ALL have failed to provide reliable long term solutions.
